Introduction
Jim Hendrick, 8 St Johns Road, Wexford is the developer of South East Angling Ireland. South East Angling Ireland promotes and utilises the tourism potential of Bass Angling and Sportfishing in Co.Wexford.
 
Product and Service
SEAi endeavours to offer a high quality, value for money Tourist Angling/Sportfishing service emphasising and building expertise in saltwater fly and lure fishing for sea bass and sea trout. We offer fully guided shore and boat Sportfishing packages combined with the provision of approved self-catering accommodation situated in the centre of Wexford town.

Within the projected and continuing development of the premises, provision has been made for a small inventory of Sportfishing equipment for both hire and sale. In conjunction with this there are facilities for training and coaching of adults and children in saltwater fly and lure fishing.

Organisational purpose

To attract recreational angling tourists who engage in Saltwater Sportfishing to Co.Wexford, through the development of a vigorous, sustainable and environmentally responsible, recreational angling activity.

 
Vision

To successfully fulfil the needs of these angling tourists and to generate economic activity, social well being, and promotion of Co.Wexford’s unique angling environment, habitat and community to ensure continued stimulus in the product.
 
Objectives
To develop, create and establish, a range of high quality and sustainable recreational angling tourism services and products related to Saltwater Sportfishing; encompassing the following

  • Fully guided angling packages – shore and boat including provision of equipment where necessary
  • Provision of high quality self-catering accommodation for visiting anglers and other tourists
  • Distribution centre for specialised Sportfishing tackle requirements (Saltwater Fly and Lure)
  • Provision for coaching and instruction in the sport of saltwater Fly and Lure fishing to adults and childr
  • Continued development of the tourism recreational angling product to meet identified competitive gaps 
  • Promotion of the necessity to maintain and protect fishery habitats, the environment and related communities
